Today i had finished off my whole project. Over the weekend i Got my teacher, Ms. Castro to correct my work so that today i would be able to view it and finishit of.. today i will make sure to give my printed copy of my project to a person that i trust so that they can hand it in on the due date as i am not going to be here!
Overall i thought i did well in creating and investigating databases. If i will ever have the opportunity to create a database again i would change a bit and try to make it more professional.

Today i had figutred out that the database that i made was wrong so i had to start the database again and create the proper oine. i had started and finished my proper database and so i think i worked well and i didnt talk too much. i will have to change my design and start my evaluation tomorrow. Overall i finished my databse and i will be able to hand in my project on time

Today in IT class i had started my database on access 2007. As this is the first timei was using access 2007 i needed my teachers help, Ms. Castros help. Ms. Castro had helped me start off my database and from what she had told me i was able to continue alone until the point i got to today. i started off my database with the genres of the movie going on to the artists that go under that genre and overall the albums of those artists. i had only got to do the artist, Bob Sinclair. I thought i moved a step forward and i had learnt a new skill, how to use access 2007!!

My Database Flowchart (25/ 01/ 2008)

This is my flowchart that I had created for my database. I had made this flowchart so that while making the database it will be easy for me to use. i took about 4 periods/ 2 lessons to create this flowchart as i had to plan it. i have never done such a detailed flowchart as i always copied the question in the descriptor onto the flowchart. this is my flowchart after i have finished it today, 25/ 01/ 2008.

Today i had finished off my plan for the plan and my actual plan. this means that i had followed my ghantt chart as i was supposed to. next week/ lesson i will be able to start creating my database using the help of my teacher, Ms. Castro as it is my first time creating a database in access 2007. i have created a database before but it was made in access 2003. overall i think i worked well. i also went to Ms. Castro to check my work before i start my database. ms. Castro checked it and gave me some advices on how i can improve my design as i didnt explain it as detailed as possible.

Today i continued working on my projetcof the databases. i had found some information so that i would be able to include it in the plan (flowchart) and then i also changed my design as i came up with different ideas that iwanted to change, such as the first subsections, the way the database will be formatted, and so on... in wikipedia i had found many pages with names of different singers/ bands in differnet categories. overall i had done something although if i want to follow my ghantt chart i will have to finish the plan of the flowchart for homework and tomorrow in the lesson i will have to create the flowchart. this is not a very good thing as i should of have followed my flowchart in such a way that i would complete my task on time. next lesson i will have to go over my plan of the flowchart with my teacher, Ms. Castro so that i wont make a mistake while the process of the flowchart so that it will not be hard for me to create my database! Today i worked as much as i could and i got help from the people that were sitting beside me, they helped me find some information to include in the flowchart.

Today i finished my desing and started making some notes on the plan for the flowchart. while writing some notes i came up with different ideas that can be included in the design, so i will have to change my design while making my flowchart. i had chosen the different subsections that will be included in the database to make it more efficient and interesting. my first subsections will be the type of music followed by the names of the albums and followed by other general information on the album for example, date of release, artist, songs in the actual album and some more ideas will come up during the process of creating the database.

Today i had continued my investigation and i have finished it off. I had followed the Ghantt Chart well although i finished it before time. i had asked my teacher to correct my Investigation so that i owuld be able to make it better for the whole draft of the project. I had got some comments about how is should improve adding more details.

Ghantt Chart for Databse Project (10/ 01/ 2008)

this is my ghantt chart for the database project. The ghantt chart shows how i will be spreading my time over the time ive got to finish this porject. every task that needs to be done under a subtitle is written and is highlighted on the date it will have to be done and the date it will have to be finished. Some tasks take longer to do than others, this is why not all questions take the same period of time. I think I did well creating this ghantt chart because I have included all the subtitiles and tasks that need to be included and i finished it on time.
